    Aulani in July - One of my sons will be having his 10th birthday! I do want to schedule the character breakfast, but any other suggestions on requesting special perks for his birthday or other things that we can do to celebrate while we're at the resort?

    Hi Pam! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting your son will be celebrating his big 10th birthday at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa...this is one birthday he will not soon forget!

    Birthday celebrations Disney style are the best. If you haven't already done so, make sure your villa reservation and all dining plans note the special birthday celebration. Your son will receive a special Birthday celebration button when you check-in. You just never know what extra magic can happen when a cast member sees your son wearing this special button.

    You're off to the perfect start with a visit from Disney's favorite characters at "Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at Makahiki." He'll get a kick out of seeing Mickey, Minnie and the gang all decked out in their vacation gear and they'll be happy to pose with the birthday boy for a funtastic keepsake. Be sure to make your reservation early as the breakfast is super popular.

    Some other birthday ideas include the fun activities at Aunty's Beach House and beach recreation. As a Disney Vacation Club member you'll receive 10% all beach rentals - I bet your birthday boy would love paddle boarding in the ocean.

    Before the end of his special day, surprise him with a sweet birthday treat are available for purchase through guest services.
