does Aulani have a DVC shuttle

Aloha, Chante! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! Mahalo for stopping by with such a great vacation planning question. It always makes my day when I get to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

I'm beyond excited to see that you are planning a magical, tropical adventure at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa next year! I'm in the beginning phases of planning my very first trip to Aulani around the same time as you, and I find myself daydreaming about stepping into the gorgeous, grand lobby, feeling the warm tropical breeze, hearing ukulele music and waves lapping the shoreline, and tasting that first sip of a mai tai. Now, let's chat about getting you to that pixie-dusted paradise!

While there is no DVC Member-exclusive shuttle at Aulani, the Hele Hele Shuttle is an easy way to transport you, your Guests and your luggage to and from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and other island destinations. And since you are a DVC Member, you may qualify for some Membership magic with a discounted rate!

DVC Members can reserve shuttle services online by visiting the Hele Hele Shuttle Service website, hovering over "Reservations" at the top of the page and clicking "DVC Owners" to start the reservation process. You can also reserve in advance by calling (808) 427-1500 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Aulani time. Just be sure to reserve your spot at least 72 hours in advance. Then, once you're enjoying your magical vacation at Aulani, you can dial extension 6798 to book the shuttle while at the Resort.

If you pack and travel like me and worry that your luggage may not fit on the shuttle, there are other transportation options, such as a private car service, taxi services, rideshare options, and even public transportation. My Aulani expert planDisney panelist pal, Kamini, advised me that while the public transportation system is affordable and convenient, for someone unfamiliar with the area, it can get somewhat complicated. So, if this is your first visit, I would suggest using the shuttle or one of the other transportation options.

I hope this was helpful, Chante, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable vacation in paradise! Stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
