    Going in August-staying at Bay Lake Tower. We'd like to try dinner at Whispering Canyon. What is the easiest way to get there from BLT or from the parks? We've never been to the Wilderness Lodge before and we're trying to plan our days wisely! Thanks!

    Hello Molly - I'll be staying at Bay Lake Towers (BLT) in August also!  I can hardly wait! 

    First, great choice with Whispering Canyon (WC)!  This is one of our family favorites - lots of fun!   To get to the WC from BLT is very easy.  Simply go to the marina at the Contemporary and hop on a blue flag boat headed to the Wilderness Lodge.  (If you are coming from Magic Kingdom, there will also be a boat you can catch there as well.)

    Once you are at the Wilderness Lodge, just follow the path to the main building which will bring you to the lobby.  You should be able to see WC from there - if not, just ask anyone.

    Also - in case you haven't been in August, you can usually expect an afternoon pop up rainstorm.  You may want to keep an eye on the skies and plan accordingly. If it looks like a storm is coming, you may want to head over to the Wilderness Lodge a little early.
