We are going in August and part of the family decided to go a couple weeks after we concluded our reservation. They have the same resort (All Star Sports) and the same period. As the complex is really big, it´s possible for us to stay in near rooms?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Monica!

It sounds like your family is planning a larger-than-life adventure at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. How fun! It is definitely possible to request a room close to your extended family. Gather your reservation number and their reservation number and then call the organization (your travel agent, perhaps, or the Walt Disney World Travel Company) with whom you made your hotel reservation. Ask that they add a request to your reservation. Note that you'd like to have a room near your family members. (Your family member should call and make the same request so that the reservation agent knows they are in agreement with your request.) Chances are very good that you will be assigned rooms near each other. I assure you that every attempt will be made to honor your request but please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed.

When you check in at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, be sure to ask the Cast Member who greets you to see if your request has been honored. If it has not, perhaps a change could be made at that time. It certainly doesn't hurt to make a polite request.

Enjoy all the magic and fun of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your family!

Don't hesitate to post additional questions if any arise before you depart.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
