We are going in August for my daughter's 6th birthday. I have booked BBB, and Cinderella's Royal Table. Any other suggestions to make this memorable for her?

Hello Hillary!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It sounds like your birthday planning is off to a fabulous start.  Your daughter is going to have a great celebration, fit for a princess.

Depending on when your reservations are, I suggest starting the morning with a relaxing swim.  We've done this every birthday my daughter has spent at Walt Disney World and it works out great.  I usually surprise her with a Premium Mickey Ice Cream Bar for breakfast while she's enjoying splish splashing around.  A relaxing morning makes for a great day later in the park.  Make sure to grab a "Happy Birthday" button when you check in to the resort for her to wear on her birthday.  She will receive lots of happy birthday wishes, high fives and maybe even a special birthday treat.  It sounds like your daughter loves princesses, so why not grab a FastPass+ for a meet and greet at Princess Fairytale Hall?  I'm sure the princesses would love to wish her happy birthday!

My biggest suggestion is try not to cram too much into her very special day.  I've found a birthday celebration at Walt Disney World works out much better if the day is more about being relaxed and going with the flow versus a strict schedule.  Wish your princess a very Happy Birthday from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
