Hi there, Rita!
Thanks for bringing your question about the
Disneyland Resort to
planDisney. I’m a big fan of introducing little ones to the magic of Disney early on, so I’m thrilled to hear you’ll be exploring the theme parks with your toddler soon!
There are dozens of
attractions you can enjoy with your little Mouseketeer. If there is no minimum height requirement for an attraction or it’s listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for your 2-year-old to ride with you! Some favorite attractions my whole family likes are “it’s a small world,” Peter Pan’s Flight, Jungle Cruise, Pixar Pal-A-Round, and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! For any thrill rides not suitable for your little one, you can take advantage of the Rider Switch program, which allows Guests with young children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns experiencing attractions while only waiting in line once. Simply go to the entrance of the attraction with your whole party and ask that a digital Rider Switch pass be added to the park ticket of the supervising adult, which will later be re-scanned by a Cast Member.
Also, there is a
Baby Care Center in each of the two theme parks that can be a helpful resource for you. They provide full-size changing tables, tot-sized toilets, and food prepping areas with a sink and microwave. You can also purchase essentials like diapers, wipes, pacifiers, sunscreen, some over-the-counter medicines, and other essentials you might need. You can find the Baby Care Center in Disneyland Park at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. near First Aid. In Disney California Adventure Park, it’s located next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.
I hope this information helps you make plans, Rita! Please feel free to ask us any other questions you can dream of as your pixie-dusted vacation approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
