    Do attractions like Its A Small World and Haunted Mansion get holiday makeovers at WDW like we saw on the TV show that showed Disneyland get made over at Christmas time?

    Hello April, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I absolutely love celebrating the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort! The holiday decorations in the Magic Kingdom are just magnificent. Cinderella Castle is simply breathtaking at night. There are just no other words to describe it. I have learned that there are over 1,300 Christmas trees that have been meticulously decorated in the Disney Resort Hotels, Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. Santa’s helpers do an amazing job of making your holiday celebrations spectacular.

    During the holiday season, there are a few rides and attractions that have been sprinkled with a little bit of extra holiday spirit for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Unfortunately, it’s a small world and the Haunted Mansion do not undergo the extensive transformation at Walt Disney World that their counterparts do at Disneyland Park. But don’t worry, there is plenty of holiday magic to enjoy during your upcoming trip. You do not want to miss one of my personal favorite celebrations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! You will enjoy a state-of-the-art projection and pyrotechnic show that takes you on a journey with ABC’s Prep & Landing while they are trying to save Christmas because Santa is missing! Never fear, they won’t rest until the big guy is safe and sound back at the North Pole. There is so much holiday entertainment to soak in during your holiday visit that I am sure you will have a magical time.
