What attractions are scheduled for refurbishment in April and May 2024?

Hi there Leanne, thank you for bringing your great question to planDisney!

I always love to plan ahead for our trips, and it's really smart to be prepared for what attractions or entertainment offerings could be closed for refurbishment during your visit!  Your best resource will be the Hours & Events Calendar, you can change the date at the top of the page to adjust for your trip dates when they become available.  It looks like the calendar extends out until early February as of now, so I'd keep my eye on this as your trip gets closer!

For both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, you can click on "Closed for Refurbishment" to see which attractions or entertainment offerings will not be available during your dates when the calendar is updated.  Even if you have a favorite attraction that will not be available during your trip, there are so many other attractions, shows, shops, and dining to enjoy that you will not be short on options!

Since you will be visiting from Australia, I do recommend exploring Disney Genie+ Service before your trip to see if it would be a good fit for your family.  Experiencing as many attractions as possible is a priority for my family, so we always opt to purchase Disney Genie+ Service for our park days.  The access to Lightning Lane entrances truly do save valuable time throughout the day, we do anything in our power to maximize the time we have in the parks so we can experience as much as we can during our trip!

I hope this information was helpful for you, Leanne.  I'm wishing you and your family a magical visit to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"

    Have a magical day,
