Hi John,
I am so glad to hEAR that you will be kicking off the New Year in 2018 in style with a January vacation at Walt Disney World! It is definitely a great time to travel and hopefully get away from some blustery winter weather back home.
John, if you are planning your trip and wish to know in advance if any attractions will be closed for rehabilitation during your visit, I suggest that you visit the online
Walt Disney World interactive calendar. Simply enter your travel dates into the calendar, and you will then be shown Walt Disney World Park Hours and entertainment schedules for the duration of your trip, as well as a list of any attractions or experiences for each Theme Park which might be closed for any part of your stay. Under the "Schedules" tab, you will see a "Refurbishment" button. Be sure that is selected in order to see the full list of attraction refurbishments.
Remember to keep checking back as you get closer to your trip for the most up to date information, as schedules can and do change on occasion. Also bear in mind that occasionally there are times when an attraction or experience may have to be closed at any time without notice.
John, I hope this information is helpful as you continue to plan your upcoming trip. Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World!
ChEARs!
Trish
