Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Krystle! (And I love your name!)
Walt Disney World Resort is a destination that is fun for the entire family, including the littlest Mouseketeers. We took my youngest son on his first trip when he was 8 months old he had a fantastic time! Your baby can ride attractions with you that do not have a minimum height requirement. Check out this
list of attraction height requirements to get an idea of all of the things you will be able to enjoy together at all four theme parks. My little guy really loved Magic Kingdom, with its family-friendly attractions, bright colors and fun entertainment. His favorite rides were "it's a small world", The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.
I have found that little Mouseketeers also really enjoy the many entertainment events and Character experiences offered throughout Walt Disney World Resort. The fantastic live shows at the theme parks, such as
Festival of the Lion King and
Finding Nemo - The Musical, are great for babies with their beautiful and bold costumes, fun music and lively dancing. Be sure to catch Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade during your trip and you will definitely want to get some pictures of your baby meeting Mickey Mouse!
Finally, take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located at each of the four theme parks. They are a great place to take care of your little one's needs, cool off and get some rest so your family has plenty of energy for your day. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
