    Are there attractions for 4yo at Disney cali adventure? The other park wasn’t open that day. Also she has a chronic illness this has an exemption for mask. Prolonged use shes seizes or faints. What is the mask policy? Can she wear a Shield?

    I’m delighted to hear that you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort with your little one! I'm happy to recommend rides perfect for a 4 year old! The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Jessie's Critter Carousel and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters are fun for the whole family! For more attraction ideas, head to the Disneyland App and filter for attractions based on age and height!

    According to the current operational guidelines, face coverings are required for all Guests ages 2 and up. 

    The guidelines also state that All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:

    • Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
    • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
    • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
    • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free

     

    Guests are permitted to wear a shield in addition to a facial covering, but not in place of one. On my recent visit to the Disneyland Resort, I saw plenty of little ones wearing face masks. I understand your concern, but there is no exception to the face-covering requirement. You do have a couple of options, you can postpone your trip until face coverings are no longer required or you can start practicing with your daughter at home. Please keep in mind that as long as you are stationary and actively eating or drinking, you can take a break from wearing a mask.
