Hi Connie,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your Walt Disney World vacation planning question. Congratulations - it looks like you will be vacationing during a time of extra special
Holiday Magic! Some of my best vacation memories have come from my family celebrating the
Holidays at Walt Disney World. This year more than ever will be a time to hold your loved ones close and cherish your lives together
As you have cleverly discovered, even the most Magical attractions need some beauty sleep (refurbishment). To check which attractions are undergoing refurbishment at the time of your visit you can view the
Walt Disney World Attractions page. Be sure to use the filters to select both the dates and parks to coincide with your visit. Personally I like to view one park at a time, but the choice is up to you. Beside each open attraction you will see its planned operating hours. Usually the attractions which are temporarily closed are listed at the bottom of the page and are noted as being closed or unavailable. Please also take note that things can change in the future due to other circumstances so it's a good idea to check back when it is closer to your trip dates.
Another way to view what is open during your visit is to check the
Walt Disney World Interactive Theme Park Calendar. You can also use your filters in this view to select specific time frames and location. For example you may choose to look at the Magic Kingdom calendar via a single day view, a 5-day view, or a month view by selecting the corresponding tabs and filters according to your preference.
I hope this helps you with your upcoming vacation planning Connie. As you continue making your plans, please be sure to come back and visit us again with any vacation planning question you may have. We are Disney fans, just like you, and love to help others plan their next Magical adventure!
Brenda
