What attractions are closed in the first week of April?

Hi Chris! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I'm a planner too, so I understand wanting to know in advance which Attractions will be under Refurbishment during your visit. While Refurbishments are necessary and sometimes mean more fun ahead in the future, it can be disappointing if we've dreamed of experiencing the thrill or nostalgia of a favorite. There's a handy tool for tracking this information: Check out the Daily Events Schedule for scheduled Refurbishments, Entertainment schedules, and park hours. While these details are subject to change and cancellation without notice, it's a good way to set your expectations in advance.

This schedule currently only extends into mid-March, so you'll want to check back in a couple of weeks to see what you can expect for your magical vacation. Just adjust the dates at the top to view your trip. I'll cross my fingers for you so that none of your must-dos are affected.

Early April is a fantastic time to visit! Temperatures are great, and there will be so much to do! Bring layers and pack your sunglasses and refillable water bottles. My family loves to dine in the parks, so we really enjoy the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which will be underway during your visit. We love to make a meal of a couple of smaller plates and tasty treats. Follow Disney Eats for all your official park food news if you like to scope out what looks yummy in advance.

    Have a magical time!
