Hello there, Teresa.
Welcome back to planDisney with your question for us. It looks like you are planning an upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Prior to our trip, I always check on the
Disneyland Resort website to see which attractions have planned closures. Since your arrival date is not listed, I am unable to determine which attractions will be closed during your visit. However, let me walk you through a couple of ways on how you can easily find this information.
Planned closures for refurbishments are announced in advance so Guests can prepare for their visit. On the Disneyland Resort website, hover your cursor over “Things To Do” and click on “
Attractions and Entertainment”. You can filter the attractions by parks. Then, scroll all the way down to find the “Closed for Refurbishment” section. Another way to find out which attractions are closed is by looking at the
Hours & Events Calendar and selecting the day of your arrival (be sure to select "Day View" and not the "5-Day View"). In addition to park opening hours and attraction closures for refurbishment, you will also find information on times for parades, shows, fireworks and nighttime entertainment (if scheduled).
When you are in the parks, you can find this information on the
Disneyland Resort App as well. Sometimes, attractions do malfunction and may need to be closed temporarily. Rather than trekking across the park to find out the attraction is unavailable, you can easily access the Disneyland Resort App and check wait times and see if the attraction is up-and-running. And while you’re at the parks, you can also use the Disneyland Resort App to mobile order food and beverages in advance and choose a time slot for pick up. My kids and I often order the Mickey-shaped beignets at
Mint Julep Bar and pick a time slot for after we are done riding Pirates of the Caribbean.
I hope this is helpful for you as you continue to plan your upcoming trip, Teresa. If you have more questions for us, please don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
