    What attractions are available in the newly opened section of the Magic Kingdom? What age is the area geared toward?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Heidi!

    The New Fantasyland is incredible with many new attractions open including:

    * Enchanted Tales with Belle
    * Under the Sea~Journey of the Little Mermaid
    * Ariel's Grotto
    * Be Our Guest Restaurant
    * Gaston's Tavern
    * BonJour Village Gifts

    In the Storybook Circus area of the New Fantasyland, you'll find:
    * Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    * The Barnstormer
    * Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station
    * Pete's Silly Sideshow
    * Fantasyland Train Station
    * Big Top Souvenirs

    I am a just a big ole' kid and I love all the new attractions so I think they are geared towards the young and the young at heart.  The only attraction open so far with a height requirement is The Barnstormer (minimum 35") and while I think this one is likely geared towards being a first roller coaster experience for young kids, I've seen lots of adults waiting to ride without kids. Each time I've visited the New Fantasyland, I've seen people of all ages (with and without kids) having a great time. Well, except for the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station - there are mostly younger kids running around in there but I'd be very tempted on a hot summer day.

    Here's what I'd recommend for anyone visiting the New Fantasyland - go early.  If you're staying on property, take advantage of the morning Extra Magic Hour opportunities. Anytime anything new opens, its bound to be very popular.  Be Our Guest Restaurant is extremely popular so start trying to make your dinner dining reservations 180 days out.
