    With the attraction closings at HS should my family including DD age 7 skip it and do animal kingdom instead? What will We do??

    Hi Rebecca ~

    It is always hard to say "Farewell" to some attractions but I know that means that Disney has something exciting planned.

    Both Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) are awesome parks and you can't go wrong with either one. My boys love DHS and we can always find attractions to fill our day there. Here are some that I think your daughter will enjoy:
    * Toy Story Midway Mania!
    * Disney Junior - Live on Stage
    * Muppet*Vision 3D
    * Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage
    * Wandering Oaken's Frozen Snowground
    * Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure
    * The Magic of Disney Animation - This is a great place to see how characters come to life. Your daughter can learn to draw a Disney character and meet some awesome characters.
    * Voyage of the Little Mermaid
    * Jedi Training Academy - even girls love to battle the evil Darth Vader
    * For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
    * Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
    * Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
    * Walt Disney: One's Man Dream
    * The Great Movie Ride - My boys love this but some kids get a little frightened in some of the areas.
    * Fantasmic!

    If your daughter is a thrill seeker (and meets the height requirements), she may enjoy:
    * Star Tours
    * The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
    * Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

    There are some great character meet and greets at DHS. Your daughter may also enjoy dining with characters at Hollywood & Vine (breakfast and lunch only) or have a retro meal at 50's Prime Time Cafe.

    We enjoy a slower pace at times and stop to dance with Mulch, Sweat & Shears. The Citizens of Hollywood perform several times a day. They are very entertaining and audience participation is encouraged.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
