    Attending a wedding at WP in 2 weeks. The reception is at the California Grill. I will not be staying at a resort. I was wondering if I can park at the CR, take the monorail to the GF then back?

    Hello Tabitha!
        Wow it is so great that you are attending a wedding at Walt Disney World!  The Wedding Pavilion in Walt Disney World adds extra magic to any wedding day!  The California Grill in the Contemporary Resort is an awesome place for a wedding reception as well.

         You may be allowed to park your car at the Contemporary Resort if you explain to the Cast Member at the gate that you are attending a wedding at the Wedding Pavilion and then dinner later at California Grill.  After parking you, can go to the fourth floor of the Contemporary and get on the Resort Monorail which stops at the Ticket and Transportation Center, the Polynesian Resort, and then the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  You will want to get off the Monorail at the Grand Floridian Resort and walk to the Wedding Pavilion.  After the wedding ceremony is complete, walk back to the Grand Floridian and get on the Resort Monorail again which will take you to the Magic Kingdom and then the Contemporary Resort.  Get off the Monorail at the Contemporary which lets you out on the fourth floor.  The check in podium for California Grill is located on the second floor and it has a private elevator which brings you up to the fabulous California Grill.

         If you are unable to park your car at the Contemporary Resort parking lot, then you can park your car at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the parking for the Magic Kingdom) and take the Resort Monorail in the same manor as I mentioned above.

    I hope that the wedding you are attending is truly magical and the dinner afterward in the California Grill is amazing!  Pixie Dust from the Moms Panel to the happy couple getting married!
