I will be attending a wedding in Orlando along with my husband and children, ages 2 and 4. Because we will be in the area I would LOVE to visit Magic Kingdom (1st visit). Should I visit MK for two days? or 1 day at MK and 1 day at another park?

    Hi Diane!
What a great treat your kids have in store!! Personally, I would recommend spending BOTH days at the Magic Kingdom (unless you, or someone else, has your heart set on a second park). The fact that this will be your first visit, plus the young ages of your children, is why I feel this is important.

There is so much to see at Magic Kingdom that you do not want to have to rush through it. I am guessing that you and your husband will want to capture each moment of wonder that your children are about to experience. Spending two days instead of one will let you absorb way more than if you tried to do it all in one day. It's just not possible.
Also, kids as young as yours may need a break at some point after an initial burst of excitement (which can slow things down a bit). That said, some tempering of expectations may be in order also. By this, I mean that kids tend to have their own interests inside the Magic Kingdom. You and your husband may be revved up to cover a lot of attractions as quickly as possible, but your kids may want to just chase the dancing water spouts in Tomorrowland for 20 minutes. The key here is to let them be the driver of how fast you move. Allowing yourself 2 full days gives everyone (and I mean everyone) the best chance to enjoy this magical experience to the fullest!
Please let me know if I can help further, and I wish the four of you a MAGICAL, MEMORABLE trip!! :)
