Hey there, Jeremy! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney - so glad you found us. I'll be happy to help with your question to bring a little extra CHEER to your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. Get those spirit fingers ready, and let's get right to it!
As a dance mom myself, our family has made some amazing memories watching our daughters' teams compete at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex! We're currently counting down until this year's National championships in February. One magical perk of attending an event at ESPN is that spectators can purchase specially-priced ticket packages, so you can enjoy the theme parks when you're not cheering on your favorite team.
Jeremy, since Varsity is the event organizer, I checked out their event website for the UCA All-Star National Championship in March. From what I could glean when I went through the "Spectator" section, it appears that the Park Hopper tickets for the event are valid from March 6 - March 20. So you should be in business for those dates you're looking at, but I recommend double-checking with your team's event registration liaison from Varsity.
A couple of extra tips to make your fan experience a slam dunk - first, be sure to familiarize yourself with the different
venues at the complex before you go! There are several different locations where teams compete, and I always like to know where I'm headed throughout the day.
You should also keep in mind that there is no direct Walt Disney World transportation to the complex, unless you book a spectator package with hotel through Varsity (you can purchase Park Hopper tickets separately from the package). There is plenty of complimentary parking if you have a vehicle, and it's really easy to use rideshare to get to and from the events - the pick-up and drop-off location is near the entrance and easy to spot.
Jeremy, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes and that your favorite team soars to the top of the podium in March! Wishing you a 'Hit Zero' for the squad and an unforgettable experience. Please stop by planDisney again if we can help with any other questions!
Go Team!
