We are attending the Summit in may which is held in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, we are supposed to buy tickets through the competition venue, and once we pick up those tickets we preordered, can it be linked to our magic bands?

    Hi Yan!

Are you and your cheerleaders getting super excited for Cheer Summit at the ESPN Wide World of Sports? Yes, your tickets should be able to connect to a MagicBand. I don't personally have experience linking the exact ticket you purchased with your group; however, I'm a military wife and the way we get our tickets from our base ticket office I do have to go through the same steps.

From a non-app internet connection, log in to your My Disney Experience account. Under the 'My Disney Experience' tab, select 'My Reservations and Tickets'. Look for the blue button that says 'Link Tickets' and from here you'll enter the 12 or 16 digit code on the back of your ticket. From the My Disney Experience App, click your character icon, and from the new screen select 'My Tickets'. On this new page click the blue plus icon in the upper right corner, then tap 'Link Tickets & Passes'. From here you'll enter your ticket code.

Once entered you'll be asked who in your My Disney Experience profile you want this ticket to connect to. (So I'd select myself, then enter another ticket and link it to my husband, and so on down the family tree.) Once each ticket is connected to its person in your My Disney Experience profile, the ticket should automatically sync to any MagicBand(s) belonging to that person from any previous trip that is still active. (Ex: I have five bands from the last two years, in theory I could bring all with me on my next trip to color coordinate to outfits and they would all work.)

Pro tips: Write everyone's name on the back of their tickets as you link them, and take a picture of the ticket back just in case something glitchy does happen to show to Guest Services.

We'll See You Real Soon, Yan!
