We are attending D2 summit this May. My children want to know if we will be receiving the magic wristbands with our registration?

    Hi Mandy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cheerleaders are going to have the best time spending their competition downtime at Walt Disney World Resort!

I spoke with a representative of the host organization of this competition and yes, those who are staying at Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels, Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Coronado Springs Resort will receive a gray MagicBand for each person in the reservation. They will be included in your arrival packet with your park tickets that you'll receive once you check-in with the competition. Because everyone will have the same color bands, I suggest taking a picture of each person holding their band with the unique code (located on the inside of the band) showing in the picture. That way should your MagicBands get mixed up you can easily figure out who belongs to which band. You can also find online or make custom vinyl stickers that will help identify each band.

MagicBands will serve as your park tickets, your FastPass+ reservations and will link to your PhotoPass photos. MagicBands can even connect to a credit card for charging things like snacks, meals and souvenirs. If you have cheerleaders other than your own in your reservation, a separate credit card can be linked so they too can have charging privileges. To do so, have their parents call (407) 939-1936 once you've been assigned a room number. And you'll be happy to know that daily spending limits can be set on each band.

I know your entire team is looking forward to this event, and We'll See You Real Soon Mandy!
