Michelle:
If you have your own car, the drive from All Star Sports to the Polynesian for the
Spirit of Aloha is about 15 to 20 minutes tops. Give yourself enough time to park your car and ask for directions from a cast member as to how to get to Luau Cove--currently, there is construction going on at the resort.
If you are relying on Disney transportation, you'll want to take the bus from All Star Sports to the Magic Kingdom. Walk past the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and ride the boat to the Polynesian or catch the monorail. Give yourself a good hour to 1 1/2 hours for this journey as you'll need to allow time to wait on the bus and walk to your transfer.
Currently, the Magic Kingdom closes at 8:00 p.m. on
February 21. Even with boat transportation running after the Magic Kingdom closes, the show lasts over two hours, so you'll need to plan on alternate transportation if you don't have your own car. Check with the concierge when you arrive. When we went, there were buses headed to multiple resorts that were waiting right outside the lobby doors, and we returned to our resort with ease.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
