Bright Suns, Brittany! You must have had some pixie dust in your pocket to score tickets for
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party ON Halloween night! You are in for a spook-tacular night of tricks and treats and lots of fun!
Themed costumes are definitely encouraged during this night of happy haunts. I would recommend checking out the
costume guidelines ahead of time to ensure that your full costume fits within what is permitted. When it comes to accessories, the
regular rules of the park are in place, even for such a special evening. I checked with a
Cast Member, and they confirmed that any items you plan on taking with you on the attractions will need to collapse or fold up into a bag or backpack. This is for safety purposes along with maintaining the enjoyment of the attraction for you and your fellow Guests.
Another option would be to arrive at the party at 3 p.m. when party Guests are allowed to mix in with day Guests. You could make it a point to take all your photos in costume in these early hours or when you first get to the party, then store your lightsaber in one of the lockers available at either park. I know the large
lockers located just to the left of the entrance to
Disneyland Park will fit a disassembled lightsaber.
My tried and true method of experiencing these special holiday nights is to take advantage of all the things you wouldn't normally get to see during a regular park day - the
Frightfully Fun Parade,
Villains Grove, special photo opportunities, and, of course, the
Treat Trails! If you do head in at 3 p.m., you could use that time to hit up some of your favorite attractions and grab something to eat so you can take full advantage of the party once it kicks off.
Brittany, we're here for you at
planDisney if any more questions come up ... and be sure not to let a ghost follow you home!
Boo to you!
