I am attending the Night of Joy event!!! In getting prepared for this weekend, are you allowed to bring in chairs to sit on while watching the concerts? My sister has back issues and cannot stand or walk for any great length of time without pain. Thanks

    Hi there Ben,

The Night of Joy lineup looks amazing this year!  I honestly wish I was able to attend.  You are going to love it!

Unfortunately, folding chairs are included on the list of items that are not allowed in the park.  Based on what you've told me about your sister's condition, she may greatly benefit from renting a wheelchair or electric scooter.  This way, she'll easily be able to maneuver around the parks and both of these "vehicles" double as a seat which will be extremely helpful, especially at the concerts.  In past years, there has been a special wheelchair accessible area located to the left of the stage.

You'll also want to visit Town Hall to speak with a cast member about your sister's back problems.  There may be something they can do to help ensure her visit is magical in every way!  If you can bring along any documentation describing her condition, it will be helpful in assisting the cast member in tailoring the best plan to suit your specific needs!  Be sure to express your concerns about seating at the Night of Joy concerts, and they should be able to provide you with a card that will grant you access to an area with seating.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
