I am attending the National Press Ganey conference held in Feb. I am staying at the Swan & Dolphin Resort with reservation coordinated by the conference. I have purchased park tickets. Can I link my resort reservation without the reservation number?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sheryl!

As a fellow Ohioan, I fully support you escaping our winter weather for a bit of Florida sunshine at Walt Disney World Resort. I for one absolutely love attending conferences in fun destinations, and Walt Disney World Resort is such a fantastic venue for work, and of course some play! At the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel you're just a short walk away from EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's BoardWalk - I hope you have some time to explore all the magic. Speaking of magic at Disney's BoardWalk, I love grabbing a snack and cocktail at AbracadaBar while enjoying the vintage magician decor!

Linking your Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin reservations to your park tickets can be accomplished through your My Disney Experience account online, or via the My Disney Experience Mobile App. My friend and fellow panelist Robyn recently provided a great explanation of how to do so - check it out! A reservation number and the last name on the reservation are required to make the link, and I know from experience that sometimes those details can be challenging to find when your room is booked by someone else as part of a group or event.

A few years back, I was actually in the same situation. Our conference organizers got so fed up with attendees asking about it that they actually sent out an email with detailed instructions of how to locate the information we needed and link our rooms. I can understand wanting to get things linked up sooner rather than later, so I suggest calling the hotel directly at (407) 934-4000. With some details from you and a little bit of pixie dust for good measure, they should be able to find the correct name and number that will make your room-ticket linking dreams come true!

In my day job I study work-life balance, but on your trip, make sure that you have good work-Disney balance!
