    We'll be attending MVMCP for the 1st time! I was told I would need to be in Magic Kingdom during the day to have access to the party at night, rather than spending the day in another park. We have base tickets and therefore can not hop. Is this correct?

    Hi Ann,

    You are going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP)!  It is such an incredibly fun event filled with special holiday experiences!  

    MVMCP requires a separate special event ticket to attend. On the evenings that it is held, the park closes early and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins at 7 p.m. 

    You will not be required to spend the day in the Magic Kingdom prior to the event. You are welcome to spend the day in another park and then come to the Magic Kingdom for MVMCP.
