Attending MVMCP 12/3. Never been. We are eating at BOG at 810pm and wanted to watch later parade, fireworks, ride a few rides and meet characters such as seven dwarves and sandy clause. Will there be enough time to do all this with eating at 810 at BOG?

Hi there, Christi! I'm so excited that you got tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World, and my favorite holiday event. You are able to enter Magic Kingdom park as early as 4 p.m. even though the actual party does not start until 7 p.m. I highly suggest arriving as early as you can so that you have plenty of time to fit in everything that you want to do. I also highly suggest getting in the line for characters as early as possible. Details for this year's Christmas Party have yet to be released, but when they are, you will be able to see which characters will make an appearance and where they will be. If your dining reservation is at 8:10 then you have until about 9:15 to eat before you have to leave to find a spot for the 9:30 fireworks. The later Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade show is typically at 10:30 p.m. I always grab a complimentary cup of hot cocoa and a cookie before heading to Frontierland to my favorite parade-viewing spot.

I think you will be fine as long as you are mindful of the time and have a game plan beforehand. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any new details for this year's party, and have a magical first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Please let us know if you need anything else. See ya real soon.
