Hi Lauren,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for coming to us with your question. I attended
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year on my birthday, and it was just about the most magical experience EVER! You and your family are in store for all the holiday cheer and festive fun, and I am so excited for you to experience it in just a few sleeps.
My son, King Elsa, loves Frozen. LOVES it. He’s a mega-fan. So, of course, A Frozen Holiday Wish was a must-do for us. I can tell you that on the night we attended, Elsa used her icy powers to light up Cinderella Castle at both 6:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. A Cast Member advised us that A Frozen Holiday Wish will take place every day (including non-party days) at 6:15 p.m., and the 8:15 p.m. showtime is exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Remember that times are always subject to change, so be sure to consult the Times Guide or a Cast Member when you arrive.
Lauren, enjoy every minute of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Two of my favorite things at this year’s party were the A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas stage show (we laughed and danced through the whole thing) and Club Tinsel, where I got to dance with my all-time favorite Disney characters, Santa’s reindeer!
If you have little ones, I consider Club Tinsel a must-do – those kiddos were having a blast jamming to Christmas tunes with the polar bears and reindeer, and parents (well, not me, but normal parents) could sit and enjoy some cookies and egg nog while their littles burned off some sugarplum-coated steam. That's a magical win-win!
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
