Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Paul. I'm so glad you stopped by! It's my pleasure to help you prepare for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
This wedding you're attending sounds positively magical. I'm sure the ceremony and reception will be just lovely, and the dessert party at Terrace des Fleurs will certainly be sweet! Front-row views of
EPCOT's newest nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, will make the perfect ending to a perfect day. To answer your question, you do not need a Theme Park Ticket for entry at
EPCOT unless you plan to visit the theme park
before the scheduled dessert party. If you plan to enter the park before the dessert party begins, you'll need a Theme Park Ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation for EPCOT. Otherwise, plan to arrive at EPCOT shortly before the dessert party is scheduled to begin. An event guide will be waiting just past the security checkpoint to usher the group to the France Pavilion. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the walk from the park entrance to World Showcase is a bit long!
If you have some time to spare between the reception and the dessert party, I recommend stopping by
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The finishing touches were just put on the annual gingerbread house in the lobby! Not only is this gingerbread house fun to see, but it's also a great spot to grab a yummy treat! You can expect to find holiday treats like gingerbread shingles dipped in dark chocolate and peppermint bark available for purchase.
I hope this was helpful, Paul. I'm wishing you magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
