    We will be attending MNSSHP this year. I have seen where in the past people were allowed into the park as early as 4p.m. My question is how will we know when they will be letting people into the park? Thanks!

    Hello Ashley, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question.

    You will have a spooktacular time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. but guests who have purchased special party tickets can enter through a specially marked entrance. If you approach the Magic Kingdom prior to 4:00 p.m., Cast Members will direct you to the line for guests waiting to enter. Your MagicBand will be scanned and you will be given a wristband to wear during the party that indicates you are a confirmed guest to attend the Happiest Haunting on Earth. Cast Members will begin to usher party guests into the Magic Kingdom.

    If you plan to dress up for the party, be sure to check Disney’s Theme Park Dress & Costume Guidelines for guests over 14 years of age. The spooks come out at 7:00 p.m. and they will bring some friends along for you to meet during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Something new for this year will be some new Halloween-inspired surprises. The Mad Tea Party will have some new lighting and special effects for you to enjoy. Guests riding Pirates of the Caribbean will have a new interactive experience looking for “Gunpowder Pete.” Explorers of Space Mountain will discover a new soundtrack and special effects during their adventure. There are other select rides, attractions, and entertainment available during this special event. Keep in mind that entertainment and availability are subject to change. Enjoy your evening and beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
