We are attending MNSSHP this year. Do we have to attend a dessert party to have access to the special desserts? Or can we purchase them in other places during the party?

BOO to you, Lori! It's a real "treat" to see you again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's help you have a hauntingly great time at the Walt Disney World Resort!

How "spook-tacular" that you've planned to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year! It's a whole night of spooky fun - and it's really not so scary. I love to find a spot to catch Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. My favorite part is when the grave diggers come by and make sparks in the pavement with their shovels. Just wow!

And what's a Halloween party without sweet treats to savor? There are plenty of ways to satisfy your sweet tooth, from the trick-or-treat trails to the Halloween Fireworks Dessert Party, but you'll also find a number of  devilish delights for purchase at several locations around Magic Kingdom Park. We haven't gotten a list of the sweets and treats for this year's party yet, but if you take a look at last year's special Halloween offerings, you'll get a good idea of where you might be able to uncover some frightfully fun foodie finds!

I hope this helps you get a taste for all the fun of fall at Walt Disney World, Lori! Please come see us again real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
