hello! we will be attending MNSSHP on October 10th. we are not staying at a disney resort on this trip but wanted to know if we would be a able to take out 4 and 5 year old to the Chip and Dale Sing Along and Smore at the Wilderness Camp. Thank you

Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey! I am happy you stopped by to talk about this hidden gem that most Walt Disney World Resort travelers know nothing about.

Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long is a rollicking good time with a cowboy comedian and of course the most mischievous of all Disney wildlife, Chip and Dale. This program is complimentary to all Guests of Walt Disney World Resort regardless of whether they are at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or not. You may bring your own S'Mores kit or purchase one at The Chuck Wagon along with a variety of savory and sweet treats. There are some special beverages for the big kids available as well. After the rootin' tootin' good time with our woodland friends, we watch the Movie Under the Stars. You guys are going to love it.

To get to the campfire site at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground you should leave yourself 60-90 minutes of travel time. Guests cannot drive their car directly to the site and will either take an internal bus from the Settlement Depot or the Outpost Depot.

Please note this event may be delayed or canceled based on weather.

Jeffrey, have a great time, and make sure you get the outside of those marshmallows nice and crispy. Mmm, I can smell them now. Please feel free to write planDisney again with any more Disney vacation planning questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
