Will b attending MNSSHP in Oct, I know that it runs from 7-midnite, what is the best time 2 arrive? If MK closes @ 7 to everyone that doesn't have a ticket 4 this event & opens @ 7 for those that do, isn't it chaos with people exiting & entering @

Hi Sue! Yes, you can only imagine the chaos if everyone tried to leave the park at one time as well as all of the guests for the special event party arrived together at one time.  Fortunately, in the past years Disney has allowed guests for the special event party to arrive early which has alleviated some of the crush.  When you come to the Magic Kingdom on the night of the event you will be entering through the right side gates. There will be cast members there who will then give you a wristband so you will be allowed to have fun on all the rides that night. You will run into cast members who will randomly ask to check to see if you have a wrist band on after 7pm to ensure that only the paying guests will be enjoying the festivities of the park. This has all worked out fairly smoothly but of course Disney is always looking for ways to make it even better for their guests so it is not unusual to find changes in the procedure.

Although I can't guarantee you that this policy will stay in place for this year I will say that my own family has always tried to secure a park dining reservation from 5:30-7pm on the night of the party so we can go and enjoy a nice dinner together before the party starts.
