Hi there Graham, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. It sounds like you have an exciting evening planned at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, what a fun way to celebrate the season! I'm especially glad to hear you've already taken steps to set up DAS for your daughter. I know how important it is to make sure everyone in the family feels comfortable and included, especially during a busy event like this.
If your daughter has an active
Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, she can absolutely use it during the Halloween Party.
The DAS system continues to work during special ticketed events like MNSSHP. When you enter the park using your party ticket, DAS will not apply to the initial entry line, as all guests must go through the standard check-in to receive their wristbands. However, once you're inside and the party begins, DAS can be used for attractions and select character meet-and-greets that offer Lightning Lane access.
During the transition period between regular park hours and the start of the party, some guests have reported that DAS may temporarily disappear from the app, but you can still get return times by speaking to a Cast Member at a Guest Experience umbrella. Once the party officially starts at 7:00 PM, DAS should function normally again in the
My Disney Experience app, allowing you to request return times directly.
If your DAS registration was already approved and linked to your daughter's account, it should carry over to the party ticket. If for any reason it doesn’t appear in the app that evening, you can ask a Cast Member to help link it or assist you with return times in person.
Graham, I hope this information helps you feel more prepared for your evening at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s such a special event, and with DAS in place, your family will be able to enjoy all the magic with a little extra ease. Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and I wish you and your daughter a night full of treats, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Have a spooktacular time!
