Attending the MNSSHP and I am an adult who wants to dress up. The rules say no one over 14 is allowed to wear a costume. Am I not allowed to dress up or are there exceptions for the Halloween party?

    Welcome Foolish Mortal ~

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my absolute favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom and I can hardly WAIT to go this yEAR! Can you tell I am a little (lot) excited?!

I like your spirit and I love to dress up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Everyone, including adults, is welcome to join in the fun and dress up. However the costume guidelines for Guests ages 14 and older are different so be sure to keep these in mind when picking out your spooktacular costume:

    * Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
    * Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g., full-length Princess dresses).
    * Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
    * Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, and hats are acceptable.
    * Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus.
    * Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
    * Masks of any kind may not be worn.

Also keep in mind that all rules and regulations are subject to change without notice.

The Disney Parks Blog recently featured a video that is very helpful with costume guidelines for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
