We will be attending MNSSHF this year. We are planning on going on October 20th. Will this be a bad day to go? I thought I read that it was a Holiday week. Also, we attended MK 3 years ago. Will we need an additional day besides the MNSSHF?

Hello fellow Hoosier!  Disney keeps a maximum number of tickets allowed to be sold for their special Magic Kingdom events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  This makes going on any night just fine as once the tickets are sold out that caps the number in the park.  I have been on nights when the party is sold out and I still have been able to enjoy all the attractions that I wished to do and many times doing them more then once. This year we will be enjoying this party on October 22 so just two days later then you!

As far as heading to the Magic Kingdom for an additional day.....hard to say as not all of the attractions are open during the special parties. Depending on your children's ages will determine whether you might want to head back there again.  For instance Toontown is not open and that is a favorite place for the toddlers and younger ages.  If our family decides to return it will be for a half day of just enjoying some of the things in the daytime hours.
