    We are attending MNNSHP next week and my question is about costumes. I saw that they can't be obstructive or offensive. Will it be OK to dress as Maleficent?( It has horns.) Also, are princess costumes allowed for adults? Such as Alice in wonderland. Thank

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is such a fun event!  In fact, I will be there myself in a few weeks=)

    One of the best things about party nights is that adults can join in the fun and dress as their favorite characters, too!  You can definitely go as Maleficent or Alice.  I have seen a lot of cute ideas for those costumes as I've been browsing the internet searching for my perfect choice.

    Here are things to avoid when choosing your costume:  
    *  anything that will obstruct your view
    *  costumes that others would find offensive (I think this is more geared toward the "adult" type costumes that are on the skimpy side)
    *  anything sharp that could poke or harm someone else (or yourself)--so make sure Maleficent's horns are not sharp
    *  costumes that drag on the ground
    *  any "pretend" weapon that could be mistaken for real

    Also, keep in mind that it will likely be hot and humid next week for your trip.  Don't wear anything that would be uncomfortable in the heat!
