Hi Lindsey,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is so soon, can you feel the magic?
When it comes to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party costumes, you’re right there are specific rules that guests need to abide by, especially for adult costumes. For costumes that contain a dress, the dress itself cannot touch or drag on the ground. Based off of that definition, your costume shouldn’t really touch the ground at all. As long as you’re following
these rules you should be okay!
That being said, with your skirt, if it has a high-low design or something where one part may drag, I suggest pulling it up at the waist and maybe folding it a little bit there. This way you can make sure your skirt hovers above the ground and doesn’t drag at all.
Hopefully this works for you! And remember that you can always ask a Cast Member on sight. I also suggest taking a back-up option (if you’re carrying a bag) just in case you need to change. Again, hopefully you won’t need to, but I always like having a second option, especially if it’s super lightweight.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to have so much fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary very soon. If you have any last minute planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
