We are attending Mickey's Not So Scary Hallow Party at Magic Kingdom in September and our daughter is dressing as Elsa. I found battery operated string of snowflake lights that I would like to use to decorate her wheelchair. Is that allowed?

Boo to you, Janet! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My son went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as King Elsa last year, and had such a magical time dressed as his favorite superhero. The party is so much fun, and I know you are going to have a spook-tacular time together!

At last year’s party, I saw strollers and wheelchairs alike decorated with twinkling lights, and I thought it was SO magical. For me, one thought crystalizes like an icy blast: snowflake lights are an amazing idea, and will be the perfect accessory! Be sure the cord doesn’t cause a tripping hazard, and double-check the party’s costume rules (which can be found on the event's web page) as you get closer to the date just to play it extra safe.

I hope you and your daughter collect so much candy (after all, Anna and Elsa love chocolate), have a blast on attractions and at shows, and love every minute of the wonderful parade and fireworks show. While we the party details haven’t yet arrived from regions beyond, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you plan and dream. You never know what happy haunts might materialize for this year’s party! Eeeek!

Wishing you an overflowing candy bag and a magical vacation,
    Robyn
