Does attending Mickeys Very Merry Xmas also require a separate entrance ticket?

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question.  The event that you are asking about is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  It is a separate ticketed event that takes place on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom.  In order to attend, guests must purchase a separate ticket as the Theme Park closes early on the days the Party is scheduled.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas offers Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season Fireworks Display.  There is also live entertainment, hot cocoa and cookies, and many more festive surprises.

If you do not attend the party, not to worry.  You will still be able to enjoy the spirit of the holidays.  The other 3 Theme Parks offer fabulous festive experiences and so do many of the Disney Resorts.  The Magic Kingdom will be open to guests on all of the other nights and you simply must see the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle; it is breathtaking!

I hope that helps Sarah.  Please let me know if you have any other questions concerning Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  I would be happy to help.
