Hi Claire,
I LOVE MVMCP- its awesome to see the all of the Christmas lights & walk down Main Street while its snowing! I could not find the parade & fireworks schedule on the WDW website but
www.allears.net (an unofficial but very reliable source) shows that Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will be held at 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. If you catch the early parade, you could see the fireworks & be heading out of the park by 10 p.m.
Because I love Disney, I started training my boys from the beginning for late nights in the parks & they have usually been able to make it long enough at MVMCP to get our money's worth & see & do everything we wanted to do. You know your DD better than anyone but here are a couple of suggestions that might help her make it through the evening:
* If you plan to go to a park on the same day that you attend MVMCP, visit the park in the AM & then head back to your resort for a break & long nap so that she is refreshed & ready for MVMCP.
* Skip going to a theme park all together that day & only go to MVMCP. There are so many fun activities to do at the WDW Resort that you can do something low key during the day.
MVMCP is being held on select evenings from Nov 8th - Dec 19th, 2010 from 7 p.m. - 12 a.m. Advance tickets are for sale up to & including the day prior to the event. Advance purchase savings is available for the events on Nov 8, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 28, 30 & Dec 2, 3, 5, 9, 14 & 16. For a complete list of MVMCP dates, pricing & to purchase tickets, click

Wishing you magical Christmas memories :-) Allison
