Hello Jamie,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to love
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade takes place during the Party, and it's one of my family's favorite Parades. The Headless Horseman starts off the festivities, and the floats, costumes, and "haunting" music are amazing! Happy HalloWishes fireworks display is "spook"tacular and, of course, there's plenty of candy to collect as you make your way through each section of the Park.
Unfortunately, costumes are not available for rent at the
Walt Disney World Resort. You can, however, purchase
children's costumes at many of the
shops in the Theme Parks,
Downtown Disney Area, and Resort Hotels. I suggest purchasing a few costume accessories ahead of time at a party store or costume shop near your home. Items such as princess tiaras, pirate attire, and Mouse ears, just to name a few, can be bought prior to your trip; they don't take up a lot of space in your luggage, and you'll end up saving a bit of money as well.
I hope this information helps. Please come visit us again should you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Wishing You Many Magical Memories,
Susan
