We will be attending the Mickey Christmas party in November. I keep seeing that it includes complimentary snacks etc. What exactly are these and how are they accessed? Also I don't really know what to expect other than staying later than most.

    Hi Cathy,

I'm excited to answer your question about my favorite special event at the Walt Disney World Resort! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is so much fun!! It is true that you will have the opportunity to stay at the Magic Kingdom until midnight and there are so many exciting opportunities to make memories that evening. Just imagining strolling down main Street, U.S.A. as snow falls all around brings a smile to my face. The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is especially magical and the toy soldiers are my favorite part of the parade. A Frozen Holiday Wish when Queen Elsa transforms Cinderella Castle into a beautiful, icy castle is simply enchanting. While enjoying an evening filled with Christmas magic, you will be able to stop at various spots throughout the Magic Kingdom to pick up cookies and hot cocoa. Historically, snicker-doodle cookies have been offered, but there was one time when we received sugar cookies instead several years ago. You are welcome to all the cookies and cocoa that you care to enjoy.

I'm also including a video of my friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Allison, as she shares this fun event with you. I hope you have an incredible time with your family.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
