Hey there Scott and welcome to planDisney. This is the best place on the internet to answer questions about your specific Disney vacation. New Year's Eve is a delight for the eyes at both EPCOT and
Magic Kingdom Park. If it's like years past the celebration will be unforgettable.
You do not need an additional theme park day ticket to enjoy the New Year's Eve festivities at Magic Kingdom Park. There will be other
special event tickets for
dessert parties and fireworks viewing but all Guests, provided the crowd levels in the theme park are not at their maximum, should be able to enjoy the show with their
theme park pass reservation. Also, be sure to make
dining reservations 60 days in advance because that is a very popular day for the best table service restaurants.
planDisney Pro Tip: Magic Kingdom Park will be very crowded. I suggest you try and
reserve a pontoon boat like we did in 2021. We were able to see and hear the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks Spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park floating in the Seven Seas Lagoon. It was magnificent and private with no crowds. A practically perfect in every way view.
Scott, keep making your plans because New Year's Eve is just around the corner and you want to be sure you have everything in order. Please
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
