We're attending the After Hours Magic Kingdom event on 1/12/26 and entering the Par at 7 PM. The 9 PM fireworks show is listed in the Disney World Calendar but not the Starlight Parade. Will the parade be held that night?

Hey there, Louis! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for sharing your question with us.

Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it. How exciting! You seem like a top-notch trip planner (you are using planDisney, after all), and I applaud you for making sure your vacation itinerary is up-to-date and accurate. Way to go!

I checked the Walt Disney World Day Calendar as well, and you’re right that there are currently no showtimes for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. In fact, it looks like there are no showtimes after December 31, 2025. My guess is that the parade schedule just hasn’t been updated yet and that times will be added as we get closer to the new year.

Attraction and show schedules are always subject to change, but I don’t see any news about a planned pause for Disney Starlight. That sort of information is usually noted on the attraction’s page or the Hours & Events calendar. You can also get up-to-date Disney Parks news over on the Disney Parks Blog

Once you’ve recovered from your late night at the Magic Kingdom, be sure to hop over to Animal Kingdom to see Walt Disney World’s newest attraction. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! recently made its debut at the Tree of Life Theater, and I’ve heard nothing but PAWsome reviews for the new 4-D show.

I hope you have an amazing visit, Louis! Pop right back if you have any other trip planning questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
