Hi! We are attending the Halloween bash and I signed us up for the desert party then fireworks viewing. Will we miss the parade and hocus pocus show? Or can we still see that from our reserved spot?

    Boo to you, Caroline!

Welcome, foolish mortal, to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you decided to attend Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party and add extra sweet treats to your trick-or-treating route. I always love trying seasonal treats at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I would absolutely love to go to the Halloween dessert party one day!

Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is a special viewing party of the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, which start at 10:15 P.M. EST. during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Since you are required to check in at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant one hour before the fireworks start, or at 9:15 P.M., you may be able to see and hear Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade as it goes around Cinderella Castle and down Main Street U.S.A. at 9:15 P.M. also. However, do not fret as that is not the only showing of the parade for the night! Indeed, there will be a second parade at 11:15 P.M., so you can experience it all. In addition, the first parade, I find, is always more crowded, so seeing the second parade might let you get a better spot closer to the parade time!

As for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, you will be able to dance the night away with the Sanderson Sisters at 7:40 P.M., 8:35 P.M., 10:45 P.M. and 12:00 A.M. EST (though times may change due to inclement weather or other conditions). Therefore, you will have plenty of opportunities to watch your favourite villains take the stage, so Hakuna Matata - no worries! You also don't need to worry about remembering these times as you can simply pick up a Party brochure on your way into the park. These unique park maps include all times for special events, treat locations, some specialty food and beverages, and even character greetings! They can also be found on the My Disney Experience mobile app, but I always love to pick up my special Halloween map as they make the best souvenirs.

I hope this was helpful, Caroline, and that you and your fellow happy haunts will have the most spooktacular time on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!

    Have a magical day,

    Ariane
