Hey there, hi there, Sally! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great question.
Before you know it, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure at the National Girl Scout Convention! How exciting! My daughter is a Junior Girl Scout and a
Walt Disney World Resort fanatic, so I am thrilled to help you book your amazing stay at one of the incredible Disney Resorts Collection Hotels for such an amazing event!
If you book a Walt Disney World vacation package that includes your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and
theme park admission, a deposit of $200 (although prices are subject to change) will be required at the time of booking. If you end up having to
cancel your reservation, as long as you cancel at least 30 days before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit. If you cancel two to 29 days before check-in, you will forfeit your deposit, and no refunds will be given for cancellations one day or less before arrival.
If you book a room-only reservation at one of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, a deposit of the first night's stay will be required to book the reservation. However, the
room-only cancellation policy states that a full refund will be given as long as you cancel your room reservation at least five days before your check-in date.
As you can see, even if you are not sure how many people will be in your travel party at this time, the cancellation policies definitely give you some wiggle room. As someone who loves to plan ahead, I suggest booking your room now so that you can lock in a stay in the room of your dreams. Then, just be mindful of the cancellation policies and cancel or modify your reservation as soon as your plans are definite. Start your pixie-dusted countdown, Sally!
I hope this was helpful, Sally, and I hope you have the best time this summer! Please stop by any time with any planning questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
