Hi, Michelle! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question!
I can hardly believe that
Halloween Time is already upon us! It's so exciting that you will be attending Mickey's Halloween Party in just a few short days. I hadn't heard of any restrictions on costumes for party goers visiting the parks before the parties commence, so I was intrigued by your question. I was recently at Disney California Adventure Park and asked a few Cast Members if costumes were not allowed and they all told me that you could certainly wear your costume to the parks before the party starts. I also just chatted with another friendly Cast Member online who assured me that you can most definitely wear your costume to either park up to three hours before the starts with your
Mickey's Halloween Party ticket.
Further, I conferred with my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Anabel M., who has a ticket to the first Mickey's Halloween Party of the season and she didn't see any language on her ticket that restricted the time or place when costumes could be worn. So, I'm not quite sure why your ticket would be different. Costumes are generally only allowed to be worn by children during normal operating hours/days, but costumes are celebrated for everyone at Mickey's Halloween Party! I think you should be able to wear your costume beginning three hours before the party starts on September 25, but if you are still concerned, you could give Guest Services a call at (714) 781-4636 for more information. If you will be in the parks earlier in the day, I would store your costume in a locker until closer to the party time.
I apologize for the conundrum, but I know you will have a spook-tacular time at Mickey's Halloween Party!
