Hi! We will be attending Epcot this Easter break and plan to do the eggstravaganza Easter egg hunt. We haven’t done it before. Do the children keep the eggs they find? How does it work? Thanks!

    Hi Danielle!

My kids love to participate in the various scavenger hunts at Epcot throughout the year.  For the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt available from April 5 - April 21 during Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, guests can purchase a World Showcase map and sheet of stickers.  Each country has a hidden egg figurine that you will hunt for.  They are usually high up either outside or inside of shops.  When the figurine is found, guests place the matching sticker onto the map in the country where it was found.  Once the map is completed with all of the stickers, guests can turn it in for a prize.  In the past, the prize has been a plastic character themed Easter egg.  So you aren't hunting for physical eggs to keep in each country, but you do get to keep an egg prize at the end.  There were many different character eggs to choose from for a prize and are subject to availability.

There are more activities for kids during Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival including a second scavenger hunt guests can participate in called Spike's Pollen Nation Exploration.  In this special hunt, you're looking for Spike the bee in various flower displays.

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions.

    Happy hunting!
