I will be attending Disneyland Nov 17 & 18. Monday and a Tuesday. The Christmas theme will be out. Excited, but would they have a fireworks show on either of those days? Would like to find a calendar to choose the park for the right day. Thank you.

Hello Richard! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you have a visit to Disneyland coming up and am excited for all the wonder and fun you're about to experience during the most magical time of year.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question. I can understand why you're hoping to catch the fireworks at Disneyland Park. My family is the same way! There's something so magical about seeing the sky light up, with that music (!), in the Happiest Place on Earth. I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it!

In my experience, Richard, fireworks in Disneyland Park usually occur every night during the Holiday season, but I encourage you to check the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website six weeks prior to your visit to confirm the schedule. You'll find current information under "Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment." Make sure your particular date is selected from the "Change Date" at the top.

All that said, it's important to know that the schedule can change at any time and fireworks at Disneyland Park can also be cancelled last minute due to weather, unfortunately.

Although it is a good idea to not delay in making those park reservations, Richard, as they are subject to availability and may run out on certain days of the year, I've found there's usually quite a bit of flexibility with reservation dates. So, feel free to make your park reservations now, and then after the entertainment schedule is released for your particular dates, you should be able to modify your park reservations, if needed.

Well, Richard, I hope this information has been helpful! As you continue to prepare for your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like where to find my favorite seasonal treats or strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.

Above all, from the bottom of my heart, Richard, I wish you the most magical visit!
